Whether you’re studying, learning a trade, doing an apprenticeship, or getting to grips with your first proper job, welcome to CLM Church!

We meet regularly in Ormskirk to worship, have fun, and share life (and snacks). Students from Edge Hill University, University of Liverpool, LJMU, or wherever you study, are welcome alongside those living locally at a similar stage of life who aren’t students.

What's On

Totally new to church?

It’s genuinely great that you are exploring faith. At its simplest, church is just a group of people who gather to find out more about God. But coming to church isn’t really the point…

…we hope that as you explore church, you’ll explore who Jesus is. Getting to know him is what actually answers the big questions about life. How do you get to know someone who lived thousands of years ago? Get in touch, or come along to one of our groups, that’s honestly the easiest way in.

What’s on for Students & Young Adults?

Tuesday, 8pm

Our vision at CLM is Loving Jesus, Sharing Jesus. Midweek, we gather in Ormskirk to read the Bible, learn together, and encourage each other as we get to know Jesus better, building a solid foundation and feeling equipped to share our faith through how we live, not just what we say.

Sunday, 10.45am

Each Sunday we gather as a whole church family to worship and learn together. We’re walking distance from Ormskirk town centre, the train station, and Edge Hill University.
Walking from Edge Hill?
Meet others at the SYA Hub, by the security lodge at the University’s front gate, at 10:00am, and walk down together. It’s the easiest way to find the building for the first time, and if you’ve never been to church before, you’ll already have people to walk in with.
Toast, 4th Sunday of the month, 10am

On Toast Sundays we have a free breakfast before the 10:45am service on the 4th Sunday of the month. There’s sausages, bacon, toast and a decent cup of coffee.

We make time for worship and teaching in this relaxed monthly service, which is full of laughter, with lots for families to engage with too.
Student Lunch

Free lunch after the Sunday service at the start of each term. A great way to get to know a local family over home-cooked food, come along on a Sunday, or message the group chat to find out more.
Get Plugged In

Everyone has skills, ability, and God-given gifts, so there’s a place for you here at CLM Church.

We know 18–30 is a busy age for studying, working and socialising, but we’d love to help you find somewhere to belong and serve, whatever time you can give. Music, kids, youth, welcome team, and more, there’s something to suit everyone.
Eden Hub

Our community-facing team, sharing Jesus with people outside the church walls, mostly through litter picking around Ormskirk. It’s a brilliant, low-commitment way to get stuck in during busy weeks.
