Our Vision
You're just as likely to hear us say, “loving and sharing Jesus is why we're here."
Jesus loves us so much that he died for us and rose again, giving us the gift of eternity with him.
We respond by loving him and worshipping him.
The Bible is the word of God and it moulds, shapes and teaches us to share the love of Jesus with others.
What does ‘Loving Jesus’ look like at CLM?
-
Jesus loved us first, so we love Him back. That's not just a feeling, it's a relationship we're growing in, getting to know Him more as we go.
-
We worship together on Sundays, and midweek in small groups we call Hubs, where we read the Bible, pray, and support one another, growing as disciples, which just means people learning to follow Jesus more closely.
What does ‘Sharing Jesus’ look like?
-
Jesus is Good News. It's the message that Jesus loves us and offers us new life. We want everyone to hear it, so we reach out with compassion and create space for people of all ages to explore faith.
-
Because Jesus serves us, we serve others. You might see us litter picking, supporting our local school, visiting isolated neighbours, and offering a listening ear or a meal to someone going through a hard time.
From our parent-and-toddler group to community fun days, everything we run is open to everyone in Ormskirk, whether you've ever set foot in a church or not.
