Step 1

Tick a statement only if it genuinely sounds like you, and be ruthless: skip anything you’re not sure about.

Part one I am able to start new ministries I am particularly good at organising people, tasks, details, and processes I have the capacity to deliver truth of a predictive nature or speak into a situation I am used by God to bring healing and restoration to people’s minds and bodies I am often ‘sent out’ to minister beyond the boundaries of a church I find creative ways to help others achieve their goals to see others succeed I can share a message from the Holy Spirit without needing to prepare or study it beforehand I have a deep desire to see God alleviate physical problems and I am used by God to do this I lead by pushing boundaries and overcoming obstacles I give wise guidance and advice to the wider church to help people understand and apply the leader’s vision I can bring direction, vision, encouragement or warning to a whole church community I have a special ability to recognise when God’s power is present and to trust Him to bring restoration

Part two I show God’s love through practical help, especially within the church family I have the God-given ability to give people vision, motivation, and direction I can speak, worship or pray in a language unknown to me I have a strong ability to understand God’s will and purpose, and help others have confidence in it too I happily and regularly do practical tasks, especially the behind-the-scenes jobs that others may avoid I have a clear vision of the big picture and stay strongly focused on the end goal I can recognise when God is being praised, thanked, or prayed to, even when the language is unknown to me I bring the tipping point on big decisions because of my confidence that God will do it I have an urge to help others and notice, without being told, ways that others can be assisted I am able to gather and lead large or growing groups, rather than mainly focusing on individual needs I can cry out to God to express what is in my heart, even when I cannot find the right words, by using a language which is not my own I am undaunted by obstacles or circumstances, trusting God to remove mountains with deep courage

Part three I show genuine empathy, compassion and grace that I experience deeper than just an emotion I gently correct, or sometimes encourage and comfort others, using biblical truth I share the gospel in a powerful way, with a deep concern for people who don’t know Jesus I am involved with the release of God’s power in unique ways I have an impulse to embrace the sinner, weep with those who weep, and stand with the accused I hear people’s stories by listening and understanding with an intensity that can’t be learnt I can easily talk about spiritual truths in front of groups of people, or with strangers I have personally cast out demons, raised someone from the dead or changed the course of nature I often seek out those who feel they are not worthy of what they receive I seem to effortlessly impact lives positively and people tell me they like to be around me I joyfully and naturally talk with authority about Jesus in an unforced way I willingly risk my reputation, trusting God in unusual situations

Part four I regularly look for ways to give money or resources and feel disappointed when I can’t I receive specific words, encouragements, or insights from God for an individual I can pray for extended periods of time on a regular basis I can recognise truth, error, or evil, sensing the hidden source of a situation I am careful with finances with a conviction that what I have belongs to God I share things I could not have known without God revealing it to me, to help or encourage others I selflessly and passionately bring the needs of others to God I am the spiritual eyes of the church, seeing and sensing what others don’t I give with great joy, regardless of how much I give, and may often give exactly what someone needs God gives me visions, thoughts, or points me to a scripture I see frequent and specific answers to prayer I have a deep underlying conviction that doesn’t allow me to rest when there is a half truth or false teaching

Part five I can instruct, explain or bring Biblical truth in a way that people understand I can spontaneously respond to a message that is given in a language that I have not learnt I bring a word or message that provides insight for an individual or a community I care deeply and show concern for individuals within a group I see people’s lives changed through my Bible teaching, that goes beyond my natural skills or training I supernaturally understand what has been said in a language I do not know I receive insight from God that helps other believers follow His will I can take long-term responsibility for the spiritual wellbeing of a group of believers I can bring a response from people through my teaching that goes beyond the content or my own education and training I can translate words from another language to deepen unity or encourage others God gives me visions, thoughts, or points me to a scripture I can see the detailed needs of individuals and I care for them throughout life
